The six phases

From first conversation to a live, supported app

Each phase has a clear purpose, concrete deliverables, and a realistic duration. Here's exactly what to expect.

  1. Discovery & Strategy

    1–2 weeks

    We dig into your goals, users, and constraints, pressure-test the idea for technical feasibility, and shape a prioritized feature set. You leave with a roadmap and a fixed-price plan you can actually decide on.

  2. UX & UI Design

    2–4 weeks

    We move from flows and wireframes to high-fidelity, on-brand screens, validating the tricky parts with a clickable prototype. The result is a reusable design system your app can grow with.

  3. Development

    6–12 weeks

    Engineering happens in short iterations against the locked scope. You get a build you can run on your own device every week, plus a written update on what shipped and any decisions we need from you.

    • CI pipeline & code in your repo

  4. QA & Testing

    1–2 weeks

    We test across real devices and OS versions, run accessibility and performance passes, and fix defects against a clear bar. Nothing goes to the stores until it's stable and meets the agreed quality criteria.

  5. Launch & Submission

    1–2 weeks

    We prepare store listings and assets, manage the App Store and Google Play submission and review process end to end, and coordinate a phased rollout. We've shipped through store review before, so surprises are rare.

  6. Post-Launch Support

    Ongoing

    Launch is the beginning. We monitor stability and performance, keep the app current with new OS releases, and ship improvements on an agreed cadence — with your code and accounts already in your hands.

That's the most common place we start. Our discovery process turns a rough idea into a prioritized scope, a clickable prototype, and a fixed-price plan — so you can decide to build with real information rather than a guess.

Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual NDA before we get into specifics, and we treat every idea as confidential by default whether or not paperwork is in place.

You do — 100%. On final payment for a phase, all source code, design files, and accounts transfer to you in full. There's no lock-in and nothing held hostage.

Every week. You get a regular build you can run on your own device, plus a short written update on what shipped, what's next, and any decisions we need from you. No black box.

A focused MVP usually runs 8–14 weeks from kickoff to store submission, depending on scope. Discovery is typically 1–2 weeks. We lock the scope and timeline together before any build phase begins.
